Cantina Pietrarossa

Four hectares, one family, zero compromise.

Why it’s a hidden gem

Pietrarossa sits on a slope most maps ignore. The family farms four hectares by hand, ferments with native yeast, and ages in barrels older than the children who now run the place. There is no marketing budget. There is a phone that someone answers between rows.

The wine tastes of where it is from in a way that has become rare — iron, dried cherry, the warm dust of a Tuscan August. It is not made to win competitions. It is made to be drunk at a table with people you love.

We list them because almost no one outside the valley knows they exist.
